Why Choose Curtains Over Blinds?
Deciding between curtains and blinds is not an easy task, cinsidering many benefits both of them offer. To find which one of these two will suit your home decoration best, you will have to relly on your personal preference as a ultimate factor in your final decision. Curtains are what many would consider the traditional choice. It’s because they are offering privacy while providing the decorative look at the same time. Additionally, since curtains are available in virtually any color and in most any style you can imagine, you are certain to find curtains for every last window in every last room.
Window curtains are a great choice for our decoration because of their style, but they have some disadvantages too. When we talk about privacy, blinds are much better there. And when we remember how much time we need to wash and dry them, we realize that much time is spent on these tasks. And we can’t avoid that. You have to take down and clean your curtains periodically; otherwise their appearance can decline quickly.
We could also decide to go with blinds as our window treatment. You get privacy with shades, but you also get the desired amount of light by adjusting the blinds the way you want. Blinds do not have so many options when it comes to design and style, but they do have a lot of colors for you to choose from. On the other side, you can adjust the blinds with the slat angles and let the breeze and light in or reduce them completely. You will also be able to clean th blinds while they are still on the window frame.
