We are gonna stay in Maui and want to take a tour. Best helicopter tour? Maui Spectacular or Maui-Big Island?

In regards to the helicopter tour, when we took one, we went with Sunshine Helicopters, and it was awesome! It took us over Mt. Haleakala, the Hana area, and the North-East Maui coast.
It was really cool to see Maui from the air… we saw a lot of stuff we never could have seen if we’d stayed on land!

One tip I’d give you about the helicopter tour is to take something for motion sickness before you leave… I NEVER get motion sick, yet I was feeling queasy by the end of the helicopter tour.

In regards to a bus tour, I’d consider it for the road to Hana… that drive is beautiful, but stressful due to the narrowness of the highway. Riding on a bus would be much more relaxing… but then you’d lose control over where you get to stop and sight-see along the way… pros and cons I guess!
On the Big Island, I’d definitely head over to Volcano National Park… I’m not sure if there’s a bus tour (we took a rental car there)… but it would be worth looking into.
