Is a passport needed to travel from the states to Hawaii?

I know that Hawaii is a part of The US, but is a passport necessary to travel there?

    No Hawaii is a state.

    No…but you will need a Valid ID or Drivers License to board the plane or ship. Hawaii is the 50th State.

    no, you don’t. You do need an I.D. You should carry some cash because a lot places only take cash. And don’t bring any pets or bugs, or anything breathing with you…we don’t need any more foreign species here.Mahalo.

    If you don’t need a Passport to go to Peurto Rico which is a Territory, Then why would need a Passport to travel to the State of Hawaii.

    Yes. You need to use the same passport that you use to travel from Georgia to Arkansas.
