    Mountain standard time.

    Hawaii is behind Arizona. If it is 9pm in Arizona, its 6pm in Hawaii….

    Hawaii is behind Arizona timewise.Since Arizona doesn’t observe daylight savings time, the answer varies depending on time of year. I think Hawaii is two hours behind AZ in winter and three behind in summer.
