Big Island Real Estate Prices?
Arthur A asked:
We’ve been following the Kona real estate market for about a year, looking for a renal that will become our retirement home. Prices have fallen dramatically this past year (not a news flash). When do you think the market will bottom out and why? Are there still renters and are renters paying a lot less? I’m looking for opinions from people who live on the Big Island, but appreciate everyone’s input.

Market bottoms are impossible to predict and are only obvious in hindsight. I think now is a decent time to get it although I also think the current level of prices is going to persist for some time(but not go much lower) so there is no big rush–take you time.
